Adding a New Website
Not all Oochie Hosting web hosting packages include the
ability to host multiple domains. Based on your hosting package, you
can setup between 1-10 completely independent websites.
To add a new domain:
- Login to your Control Panel.
- Click on Domains.
- Click Add New.
- If you have more than one hosting package it will ask you to choose
a package. Otherwise, you will not be presented with this option. Click
Next.
- Now choose whether you already own, need to register or want to transfer the domain name. Click Next.
- Enter the domain name in the spaces provided. Please be sure to put
the extension (e.g. .com) on the second text box on the right. Click
Save.
- Click on the domain from the list.
The system will automatically setup your domain based and allocate
resources, like email, based on your web hosting package. To access the
web site be sure to click on the domain from the list (Step 7) and see
the FTP section and/or setup a Temporary URL. You may also want to
visit the Website Settings or Advanced Website Settings sections.
Lastly, you will need to point the domain to EPhost. If you chose,
Register the Domain or Transfer the domain registration- you will not
need to take this step as the system will do it for you. Note, domain
transfers can take up to 5 days. Domain registrations will be processed
within 10 minutes unless payment is due on the account.
