Leaving a copy of the message on the server
When using POP3 email, it is possible to leave a copy of the email on the server so that it can be downloaded in a different place. Almost all email clients (e.g. MS Outlook) have this setting. Some email clients like the version of Outlook on a Pocket PC do this automatically.

Instructions for MS Outlook:

  2. Click tools.
  3. Click Email Accounts.
  4. Select View or Coinage Email Accounts >> Click Next
  5. Highlight your email account >> Click Change
  6. Click the More Settings Button.
  7. Click the Advanced Tab.
  8. Check the "Leave a copy of the message on the server" option.
  9. Check the Remove from server after X days >> Set to 1 to 3 days. DO NOT choose NEVER.**
  10. Click Ok >> Next >> Finish - to save your settings.
** Do not select NEVER for the :"remove from server" option.
